Delicate and gentle "Fine" Series

KOGANE, established with the concept of "weaving materials,"

creates yarns from attractive materials such as cashmere, yak, and blue fox.

We are grateful for the many positive comments we've received. Thank you!

 

Among these, we also heard

"Don't you have a thinner yarn?"

"The yarn might be a bit too thick..."

We felt that starting with a thicker yarn, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the comfort of the material, was the right choice for our initial lineup.

However, it's true that it wasn't suitable for knitting thin shawls or delicate items.

 

 

...So, why don't we make one?

 

And so, we introduce the fine count "Fine" series from our three products: "cashmere," "YAK," and "Blue Fox Wool"!

(In reality, we thoroughly considered and developed the yarns.)

 

For each material, we conducted step-by-step tests and selected the optimal thickness that brings out the best in the material.

This flexible yarn production is possible because we are a factory brand that manufactures yarn.

Now, let's introduce these yarns.

 

- cashmere " Fine " -

"cashmere " Fine "" has been adjusted to exactly half the thickness of the original "cashmere".

It maintains the same soft feel, making it a yarn that feels lighter and so comfortable you'll forget you're wearing it.

The colors are the same as "cashmere," so it would be interesting to create pieces with varying thicknesses.

Of course, it's also available in balls.

Recommended needle sizes: knitting needles 3-4 / crochet hooks 3-4

 

 

- YAK " Fine " -

Next, we introduce "YAK " Fine "".

Yak yarn keeps us wonderfully warm, but its excellent insulation can sometimes make it a bit too hot.

Therefore, we've adjusted "YAK" to be more than half as thin, making it easier to knit items that allow you to wear yak for longer periods while maintaining its comfort.

A thin shawl for slightly chilly seasons or as a countermeasure against summer air conditioning would be a versatile item that's easy to carry and still provides excellent warmth.

Available in 4 undyed colors, same as "YAK"!

- Blue Fox Wool " Fine " -

Finally, we have the fine count version of the very popular "Blue Fox Wool," called "Blue Fox Wool " Fine "."

This time, it's available in the same thickness as "YAK " Fine ""

"Blue Fox Wool" was a rather voluminous yarn, and I believe its melting softness and long pile excited everyone.

"Blue Fox Wool " Fine "" is absolutely no less impressive.

The thinner yarn results in a neater finished product, while maintaining the softness and brushed texture.

This yarn will bring new discoveries to your knitting life.
