Thank You Crewneck Sweater

Two months have already passed since KOGANE launched.
In these two months, we have had busy but fulfilling days, with an exhibition for wholesalers, an appearance at the Material Expo / Yokohama, and participation in Spinning Party 2025.

More and more people are discovering KOGANE through social media and coming to our events looking for yarn. Every time I hear from them, it truly fills me with joy and encouragement.
Going forward, I hope to visit various places across the country and gradually increase opportunities for many people to pick up KOGANE's yarn.

My desire to do this and that is endless, but for now, I want to take each step carefully, and with that in mind, I face manufacturing every day.

The "Thank You" yarn is colorful and pop, and the tag design perfectly matches the yarn's vibe.

Let me introduce the "Thank You" crew neck sweater kit, which will be released soon.

When we were thinking about the yarn lineup for the launch, the idea came to us to create colorful, multicolored yarn by twisting wool and cashmere together.

From there, we went through countless prototypes to find out which ply was easiest to knit with and which combination felt most comfortable. Finally, we created the yarn we envisioned!

The finished yarn composition is 61% Wool and 39% Cashmere.
We named it "Thank You" after the cashmere blend ratio of "39 (San-Kyu, a play on words for Thank You)".
We want to express our gratitude to everyone who picks up our yarn, enjoys their knitting time, and gives it as a gift.

The first sample was knitted on a domestic machine, then hand-knitted revisions were made to achieve the desired silhouette.

The crew neck sweater made with "Thank You" yarn features a design that embraces the joyful pop aesthetic unique to "Thank You."

When the multicolored yarn is knitted, the surface develops a subtle, bumpy, three-dimensional quality, and the fabric itself plays a delightful rhythm.

The shape is a basic crew neck designed for comfort.
It features a relaxed body and shoulder width with a slightly shorter length, creating an overall boxy silhouette. The thick ribbing on the collar adds a design accent.
We also recommend styling it by peeking out the hem of a cut-and-sew top or shirt from underneath.

 

For the kit, you can choose your favorite "Thank You" color!

Because it's such a simple shape, I think it would be fun if it could be a base for creation, allowing each person to enjoy arranging it as they wish.
For example, if you want a longer length, you could increase the number of stockinette stitches under the armholes, or switch yarns to create stripes or panel patterns.
After "Thank You," we also recommend knitting another version with KOGANE's Cashmere or Blue Fox Wool!

It would be incredibly rewarding if this single knitting pattern could help enrich your creative time, even just a little.
