Material Details

Yak are animals from the bovine family that live on the Tibetan Plateau at altitudes of 3,000 to 6,000 meters.
To survive in such harsh, cold environments, yak down has excellent insulation while also offering softness and fineness similar to cashmere. Each yak produces only about 100 grams of this precious fiber per year.
We created a truly luxurious yarn made from 100% yak fiber. Spun with air to create a light and lofty structure, it offers exceptional warmth, making it perfect for knitting pieces you can enjoy throughout the cold winter season.
This yarn is also completely undyed, showcasing the yak’s own natural colors. We hope you will enjoy the subtle tones and the beautifully soft texture directly against your skin.
*No fulling is required. Light steaming will give your finished piece a beautiful finish.

Product Information & Care Notes

・Each label includes a lot number. Slight color variations may occur between different lots, even for the same color. We recommend purchasing sufficient quantities from the same lot for a single project.
・Colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and individual perception.
・Dark colors may bleed when wet or exposed to sweat. Please avoid strong friction and wash separately.
